Our 8th Lobster & Strawberry Festival was an amazing success!
Over 948 guests dined with us between Tuesday 27 June and Sunday 2 July – more than 450 lobsters & 100 kilos of strawberries were consumed through the festival.
Our Head Chef, and his team, created some exiting new dishes featuring lobster caught from the waters in front of Pebble Beach; as well as locally sourced strawberries. Highlights include a twice baked lobster soufflé with spring onion & tarragon, lobster tempura pak choi, shitake mushrooms, glass noodles & sweet chilli sauce stir-fry and the more traditional half or whole lobster thermidor served with Jersey Royal and salad. And then to the delicious strawberry desserts – new to 2017 the Strawberry Bavarois with a honey & truffle mascarpone cream & shortbread proved a huge hit such was the Vanilla Panna Cotta with strawberry consommé, basil!
